Changing Your Email Password or Resetting a Forgotten Email Password

If you’ve lost your password or just would like to change it you can change it online using the instructions in the following steps. The steps will differ based on whether you’re the primary account holder or a sub-account user.

Resetting Your Own Forgotten Password

Notice: If you’re a sub-account holder, you can request the account owner for a password reset.

• To reset your password:
• Visit this page: webmail site of Spectrum.
• Select Forgot Email Password?
• Choose I don’t remember the password to my email.
• Enter your email address.
• Choose the I’m not a bot checkbox and then click submit.

If you’ve never tried the Password Reset Tool before, you’ll be asked to enter the MAC address of your modem. Choose the How to Find the MAC Address of Your Modem ID on Your Cable Modem ID hyperlink to read more. After entering the MAC address, you can click submit.

Input the answer to a security verification query.

Select Reset Password. A new password will be displayed.

If you plan to alter it immediately then you could duplicate it. If not, keep a note of the information.

NOTE: You can select the Self Care section for Subscriber Self Care and change your password to one that is simpler to remember. Follow the next set of steps.

Changing Your Own Password

• For changing your own password:
• Click here to the Subscriber Self-Care page and sign in with the details of your subscription account. email address and password.
• Simply type in the text on the image and then select Sign in.
• Under the heading User Management heading, click “Change Password”.
• Enter your current password Then enter your new password. After that, confirm your new password.
• Select Change Password.

Changing a Sub Account User’s Password

• Only the account holder of the master account is able to change the password of a different than their own.
• To change the user’s password:
• Visit Subscription Self Care and then enter the master password for your account. email address and password.
• Simply type in the text on the image, then click the Login option..
• Choose to Change the Password for the correct user.
• Enter the new password and confirm it.
• Select Change Password.

The user of the sub-account can make use of the password you have created to log in to Self Care for Subscribers. Self Care and change Spectrum Roadrunner Email Password.

Notes

It is important to note that the Spectrum user name and password you use to log into your account online (for payment of your bills or checking your account for services) are distinct from your username and password for your email.
